Katie Trapp is a lesbian author born in Lawrenceburg, TN. As the oldest child growing up, Katie was always headstrong and mature. Throughout school, Katie struggled with dealing with dyslexia but, despite that, went on to graduate from Tennessee Martin University with a BS in psychology. Her early career was in social work as a caseworker for a non-profit mental health organization. Following several years with this agency, Katie made a career change and began work as a substance abuse counselor at a non-profit drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. In 2018, Katie met her future wife, Kim. The two married in 2020 and moved to Kim’s hometown of Corbin, KY. After six months in this location, the pair decided to move yet again, seeking a friendlier community for their queer little family. This decision brought Katie and her wife to Richmond, KY, where they now reside. After this move, Katie decided to pursue a lifelong dream of writing. She has written three full-length novels and is currently working on her fourth. She enjoys spending time with her wife and four fur babies when she is not writing. She is an avid women's soccer fan and attends games often during the season.
